Project purpose: To implement the digitalisation of the company’s production processes, enabling an increase in labour productivity
Project activities:
- The company has been reoriented over the past years, with new production units created and new production processes integrated. Supply and production chains are being developed and investments are being made to adapt the premises to modern production.
- The technological audit recommended that the company implement complex measures covering the entire production line of the furniture panel, including additional automated CNC machines, scanning and sorting units based on modern image recognition and artificial intelligence technologies, and automated conveyors. The existing production facilities in the panel shop must be integrated into the newly designed line.
The project is being implemented in the company’s production premises in Sodų g. 13, Žeimiai, Jonava district.
The implementation of this business plan contributes directly to the Smart Specialisation priority areas, most notably “Flexible technological systems for product development and manufacturing”.

The project aims to: digitise the existing equipment by installing smart sensors; install terminal workstations; implement an operational business management system; fully automate one of the furniture panel production facilities; complete the company’s production process by installing the currently missing automated equipment – a robotic painting line and programmable woodworking machines.

This project will create 3 sets of unique furniture line designs, consisting of a table, a chair and a chair:
- Solid oak furniture with a layer of wood chips;
- Ultra-light wooden furniture;
- Luxury wooden office furniture.
The company has made significant investments in the last 2 years to equip its furniture production lines. The company starts to produce a variety of wooden furniture and components, which has led to a significant need for the design of these products. The company has seen a clear need for new furniture designs through its participation in international furniture exhibitions, and has set out basic design guidelines for new products.
- Designs will be created for new, original furniture.
- The design solution will be developed with the help of an external design company.
